Primary 1–3: A Foundation for Lifelong Learning

At St. Joseph’s International School, our National Section Primary 1 to 3 program follows the Egyptian Ministry of Education curriculum, providing a strong academic foundation in Arabic, Mathematics, and English, taught daily by dedicated educators. In addition to core subjects, students enjoy a well-rounded schedule that includes Discovery, Respect, Art, Music, and Physical Education throughout the week.

Learning Beyond the Textbook

Our approach to education goes beyond memorization. We believe in bringing learning to life through meaningful academic activities that are directly connected to what students study in class. These activities are thoughtfully designed to support the development of cognitive skills, as well as to nurture important personal and social values such as:

  • Self-confidence
  • Respectful self-expression
  • Appreciation of others
  • Responsibility and integrity

Through this balanced approach, students begin to understand how the subjects they learn apply to their daily lives—enhancing critical thinking, curiosity, and a love for learning.

Holistic Development Through Activities

We offer a range of structured experiences that foster creativity, build social skills, and promote well-being. These include:

  1. Classroom Activities
Hands-on, practical tasks that reinforce academic concepts and help students internalize what they’ve learned.
  2. Extracurricular Events
Throughout the year, students participate in enriching and enjoyable events such as:
  • Super Heroes Character Day
  • Spelling Bee & Reading Bee Competitions
  • Science Fair & Math Carnival
  • Library Day & Social Studies Day
  • Arabic Day, Sports Day & International Day
  • Art Exhibitions
  • Handwashing Awareness Events
  • Spirit Days and more

These events create memorable learning moments and celebrate each child’s talents.

  1. Monthly Birthday Celebrations
Each month, we celebrate the birthdays of our students with a special photo, a celebratory badge, and a personalized post shared on our school’s social media page—turning every birthday into a cherished memory.
