Start of Day

KG Department back school gate will open at 8.30 am to allow all PreSchool, KG1 and KG2 students (National and American Sections) to enter and will close at 09.00 am. All students should enter the school through the KG back gate in the morning to allow health checks to occur. Under no circumstances will older students be allowed to enter after this time or through the back gate (KG gate) in the morning.

Dismissal

 Students will use the KG back gate by the end of the day for dismissal.

• KG1&2 (AM) at 01:00 PM.
• KG1 (National) at 01:30 PM.
• KG2 (National) at 01:45 PM.
• Preschool at 03:00 PM.

Please pick up your child on time. It is the parents’ responsibility to ensure that students are off campus by 02:00 pm. The school is not responsible for students after 02:00 pm as teachers have other duties to attend. Students are not supervised after 02:00 pm. No student is allowed to stay inside the school premises or on school campus unless they are participating in a scheduled afterschool extra lessons.

Children can only be picked up by adults who will show us the Collection ID Card.  Under no circumstances we will release your child to anyone who doesn’t have the collection ID Card.  Please remind all pick up persons to be prepared to show the Collection ID Card.

If you wish to add a new person who will be responsible for picking up your child, you must inform the KG Department administration with his/her full name and they have to show us their ID. 

Once the child has been released, we require that the adult and the child promptly leave the school.  For liability insurance purposes we cannot be responsible for children once they have been released from our care and discourage families from lingering on our premises after the child has been released.

Early Dismissal

In case that the parents want to pick his/her child before the end of the school day due to any reason,This has to be done via SJIS administration (main Gate) in the reception as there is a form that has to be filled before picking the child.

Kids’ Waiting Room

SJIS  provides  the parents with an extra service that might help them to save their time which is Kids’ Waiting Room.There are two waiting rooms available, one in the morning from 08:00 AM till 09:00 AM & the second waiting room is from 02:00 PM till 03:00 PM . Students can participate either in one or both as per the parents’ needs.In case of participating in both of them, there will be a discount in the fees.
